Our Mission

Raven Homeschool supports parents as they guide their children's education. Our program helps students become lifelong learners, problem-solvers, and engaged members of their families and communities while building understanding of both their cultural heritage and the modern technological world.

Our Vision

Every student will learn with curiosity, confidence, and a strong sense of community.

What We Believe

  • 1
Parents are a child's first and most important teachers.
  • 2
Families should have the freedom to guide their child's education.
  • 3
Parents are capable of choosing the learning path that best fits their child.

What Sets Raven Apart

We combine the flexibility of homeschooling with the support of a public school program.

Our History

Raven Homeschool was established as a program of the Yukon-Koyukuk School District (YKSD), starting as a small initiative to support homeschooling families in Interior Alaska.

'10s

Statewide Expansion

The program expanded from a single office to six offices statewide: Anchorage, Delta Junction, Eagle River, Fairbanks, Juneau, and Wasilla — making Raven accessible to families across Alaska.

Now
